I’m Sharlene, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Christian counselor, Clinical Director, wife, and mother. I’m passionate about walking alongside individuals as they navigate healing, growth, and becoming whole. My work is grounded in Proverbs 8:11: “For wisdom is better than rubies; and all the things that may be desired are not to be compared to it.”
Through Healing Together Solutions, LLC, I provide a safe and supportive space where individuals can reconnect with their inner strength—emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. I support individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, stress, burnout, compassion fatigue, and life transitions.
I have a special interest in working with professionals and caregivers who spend much of their time caring for, supporting, serving, or leading others. Together, we work toward greater self-awareness, healthier boundaries, emotional resilience, and a renewed sense of purpose.
Beyond counseling, I serve as a behavioral health consultant, speaker, educator, and workshop facilitator, focusing on burnout prevention, compassion fatigue, organizational resilience, psychological safety, mental wellness, and trauma-informed care.
Whether in the counseling room or working with organizations and professional communities, my mission is the same: to create spaces where people feel seen, supported, and equipped with practical tools and wisdom to move forward with greater healing, purpose, and resilience.

Her work focuses on helping professionals, caregivers, and organizations recognize the signs of burnout, build resilience, establish healthier boundaries, and create environments that support psychological safety and well-being.
She has served as a speaker at DBHDD conferences and professional events, presenting on topics including burnout, compassion fatigue, co-occurring disorders, trauma, suicide prevention, and mental wellness, particularly in educational and campus settings.
Sharlene’s advocacy also extends to public health and community education. Through collaboration with the DeKalb and Gwinnett County Boards of Health, she has led educational initiatives addressing diabetes and depression, postpartum care, and whole-person wellness.
Through counseling, consultation, education, and advocacy, Sharlene continues to help individuals and organizations recognize what they are carrying, build resilience, and create healthier pathways forward. Her goal is to create spaces where people feel seen, supported, and equipped to thrive.
