Licensed Professional Counselor

Sharlene H. McClendon is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a deep commitment to helping others grow, heal, and thrive. With a unique blend of professional expertise and personal passion, she offers a compassionate, clinical, and faith-integrated approach to therapy that supports the whole person, mind, body, and spirit.

Sharlene’s counseling practice is built on the belief that true healing begins with relationships, especially the one you have with yourself. Her work focuses on helping individuals reconnect with their identity, build self-confidence, and develop the tools needed for lasting personal transformation. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, or life transitions, Sharlene provides a safe and nurturing space for growth.

Rooted in Christian values and holistic mental health principles, Sharlene empowers clients to align their emotional well-being with their faith and purpose when desired. She believes that when we understand who we are at our core, we unlock the strength to move forward with clarity and confidence.

Her influence extends beyond the therapy room. Sharlene is also an accomplished writer and speaker, having contributed to mental health and wellness conversations from Atlanta to international audiences, including published work in Kenya. Through her writing and public speaking, she encourages insight and real-world strategies to help others live more meaningful, purpose-driven lives.

Whether in a one-on-one session or speaking to a room full of people, Sharlene's mission remains the same: to inspire growth, nurture healing, and walk alongside others as they discover who they were created to be.
